Windows Mail Setup

Follow these instructions to setup your MyMail account in Windows Mail.

1. Open Windows Mail.

2. Click Tools in the menu bar and select Accounts…



3. Click the Add… button in the Internet Accounts box..

Windows Live Mail Setup

Follow these instructions to setup your MyMail account in Windows Live Mail.

1. Open Windows Live Mail

2. Click Add an email account in the left hand panel.

3. Enter your Mymail address in the E-mail address field.

4. Enter your password in the Password field.

5. Enter your name in the Display Name field

6.Check the Manually configure server settings for e-mail account box

7. Click Next

8. The incoming Mail server is a POP3 server

9. Enter mail.mymail.net in the incoming server field

10. Check the This server requires a secure connection (SSL) box. (The port changes from 110 to 995 automatically

11. Enter your complete Mymail address in the Login ID field.

12. Enter mail.mymail.net in the Outgoing server field.

13. Check the This server requires a secure connection (SSL) box

14. Change the Port number from 25 to 465

15. Check the My Outgoing server requires authentication box.

16. Click Next

17. Click Finish.

18. Your Mymail account is now set up in Windows Live Mail

Outlook Express Setup

Follow these instructions to set up your MyMail account in Outlook Express.

1. Open Outlook Express.

2. In the Menu bar click Tools and select Accounts

3. Click Add and then select Email

4. Enter your Name in the display name field

5. Click Next.

6. Enter your MyMail Address in the Email address field

7. Click Next

8. Choose POP3

9. Enter mail.mymail.net in the Incoming and Outgoing mail servers.

10. Click Next

11. Enter your entire MyMail address in the Account name field.

12. Enter your password in the the Password field.

13. Click Next

14. Click Finish

15. Click on tools and Accounts again.

16. Click on the mail.mymail.net account.

17. Click Properties.

18. Click the Servers tab.

19. Check the My server requires authentication box

20. Click on the Advanced tab

21. Check both boxes that say This server requires a secure connection (SSL)

22. Change the Outgoing mail (SMTP): number from 25 to 587. The incoming will auto change from 110 to 995.

23. Click OK

24. Click Close

25. Your MyMail account is now set up in Outlook Express.

Outlook 2007 Setup

Follow these instructions to set up your MyMail account in Outlook 2007

1. Open Outlook 2007

2. Click Tools in the menu bar and select Account Settings.

3. Click New… on the Account Settings screen

4. Click Next on the Add New Email Account.

5. Click the Manually configure server settings or additional server types check box.

6. Click Next

7. Choose Internet email and then click Next

8. Enter your name in the Your Name field

9. Enter your Mymail address into the email address

10. Select POP for the Account Type

11. Enter mail.mymail.net in the Incoming mail server and the Outgoing mail server fields

12. Enter your entire MyMail Address in the User Name field

13. Enter your password in the Password field

14. Click more Settings

15. Click the Outgoing Server Tab

16. check the Outgoing server (SMTP) requires  Authentication box

17. Click the Advanced tab

18. Check the  This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)

19. Under the Outgoing server is the field Use the following type of encrypted connection: Choose SSL from the list.

20. Change the Outgoing Server (SMTP) from 25 to 587

21 Click OK

22. Click Ok or Finish until all windows except Outlook 2007 are closed.

23. Your MyMail account is now set up in Outlook 2007

Outlook 2003 Setup

Follow these instructions to set up your Mymail account in Outlook 2003

1. Open Outlook

2. Click Tools in the menu bar and select Email Accounts…

3. Click Next

4. Select POP3 and click Next

5. Enter your name in the Your Name field

6. Enter your MyMail address in the Email address field

7. Enter mail.mymail.net in the incoming and outgoing server fields

8. Enter your full email address in the User Name field

9. Enter your password in the Password field

10. Click the More Settings button

11. Click the Outgoing Server Tab

12. Check the My ougoing server (SMTP) requires authentication box

13. click the Advanced Tab

14. Check both boxes that state This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)

15. The Incoming server auto changes to 995.  Change the outgoing server number from 25 to 465.

16. Click OK

17. Click Next.

18. Click Finish

19.  Your MyMail account is set up in Outlook 2003.

Opera Setup

Follow these instructions to set up your Mymail account in Opera’s email client.

1. Open Opera.


2. Click Tools in the menu bar and select Menu and Chat Accounts.

3. Click Yes.

4. Click Next

5. Enter your name in the Real name field

6. Enter your email address in the email address field

7. Put in the organization you would like.

8. Click Next

9. Use the entire email address as the login name

10. Enter your password in the Password field

11. Type mail.mymail.net in the incoming server field

12. Check the Use Secure connection (TLS)

13. Enter mail.mymail.net in the Outgoing server field.

14. Click Finish

15. The Mail bar opens on the side of Opera.

16. Click Tools in the menu bar and select Mail and chat accounts… again

17. In the Manage accounts box click on the account and click Edit

18. In the Account Properties box click the Servers tab

19. Check the boxes to ensure the Secure connections are used on both servers.

20. The Incoming port should be 995

21 the Outgoing port should be 465

22. Choose Auto in both Authentication fields

23. Click Ok.

24. Your MyMail account is now setup in Opera.

Mozilla Thunderbird Setup

Follow these instructions to set up your Mymail aaccount in Mozilla Thunderbird

1. Open Thunderbird

2. Click Tools in the menu bar and select Account Settings…

3. In the Account Settings box click the Add Account button in the botttom left corner.

4. Select Email account

5. Click Next

6. Enter your name in the Your Name field.

7. Enter your Mymail address in the Email address field

8. Click next

9. Enter mail.mymail.net in the incoming server field

10. Click Next

11. Enter your Email address in the username field

12. Click Next

13. Your Mymail address will show up in the Account Name field

14. Click Next

15. Click Finish

16. In the Menu bar click Tools and Accounts again.

17. In the Account Settings click on Server Settings underneath your new account.

18. In the Security Settings select SSL

19. Click Outgoing Server

20. Click Add

21. Add a Description in the description field

22. Enter mail.mymail.net in the Server Name field

23. Change the Port to 465

24. Check the Use name and password box

25. Ensure that the Username is your Mymail address

26. Check the SSL option.

27. Click OK

28. Click OK in the Account Settings box.

29. Your MyMail address is setup.

Entourage Setup

Follow these instructions to Set up Entourage.

1. Open Entourage

2. In the Apple Bar click Tools and the Accounts.

3. In the Accounts box click new - The Account Setup assistant opens

4. Enter your MyMail account in the E-mail address field.

5. Click the right arrow in the bottom right corner

6. Entourage will try to configure the system automatically and will fail.  Thats OK.

7. Click the Right arrow again

8. Enter your name in the Your name: field.

9. Enter your email address in the email address field

10. Enter your email address in the Account ID field

11. Enter your password in the Password field

12. Check the box to save password in Mac OS X Keychain

13. enter mail.mymail.net in the Incoming mail server field

14. Make sure the Incoming mail server type is POP

15. Enter mail.mymail.net in the Outgoing mail server field.

16. Click Configure Account Manually

17. On the Edit Account screen click the button - Click here for advanced receiving options

18. Check the first box which says  This POP servce requires a secure connection (SSL).

19.  The number changes from 110 to 995.  Close this box.

20. Click the Click here for advanced sending options.

21. Check all three boxes

22. Change the number from 25 to 465

23. select the options to use same settings as receiving mail server.

24. Close this box

25. Click OK in the Edit Account box.  Your mail is now set up in Entourage.

Apple Mail Setup

In order to setup your MyMail account in Apple Mail follow these instructions.

1. Open Apple mail.

2. Click File in the apple bar

3. Click Add Account

4. Enter your name in the Full Name field

5. Enter your MyMail Address in the Email Address field

6. Enter your Password in the Password field.

7. Click Continue

8. Enter a description in the Description field

9. Enter mail .mymail.net in the Incoming Mail Server field

10. Enter your full MyMail address in the Username field

11. Enter your password into the Password field

12. Click Continue

13. Choose mail.mymail.net as the Outgoing Server

14. Check the Use Authentication box

15. The Username and Password should be filled

16. Click Continue

17. You will receive a failure error after several moments. Click Continue again.

18. Check the Use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) box.

19. Select password as the for of authentication

20. Click Continue

21. Click Create

22. You will then begin receiving your MyMail emails in Apple Mail.
