How do I use Tags?

Filed under: Articles, Billing — admin @ 2:12 pm

Tags and stars are functions of MyMail’s web mail that can help you in labeling, sorting and searching your messages. Stars appear next to the senders email address and are given their own designated column. If you would want to “star” an important message just click the uncolored star in the message line when viewing your message list. Click the Star at the top of the message list to sort your starred messages apart from unstarred messages. - Click here to see more information on sorting messages

Tags - Tags offer another way to keep track of specific messages.  A tag adds a colored tag next to the subject line of the message indicating which tag was added.  You create and manage your tags.  One example of a tag could be having a tag for a specific person, group of people or email subject.

How SendSecure Works

Filed under: SendSecure, WebMail — admin @ 2:48 pm

Send Secure is the feature MyMail provides to ensure message security.

One of the largest privacy risks with email is the fact that nearly all email providers have access to read your messages while they are stored on their servers.

When Send Secure is turned on, your messages that are sent to non-MyMail email addresses are kept protected. When a message is sent to a non-MyMail recipient a secure inbox is created for the recipient using their email username as the basis. Your message is securely stored in this New Inbox.

Your recipient receives a message like this ->
ss-msg

Once the recipient clicks on the activate your account link they are required to create a password

ss3

After selecting the password and clicking Go the recipient will be logged in to their secure Inbox.

ss4

A recipient can upgrade their secure inbox to a full MyMail account at any time they wish.  Click here to find out more.

A recipient will continue to recieve all messages sent using Send Secure to their email address in the same secure inbox.  The message even looks the same.

ss-msg

When they click on the Activate Account link after establishing the password for their secure Inbox then the login page is displayed instead of the password screen.  the login screen is diplayed here
