A beginner's guide to MyMail

Navigation
Knowing your way around a place can really help make living there easier.  Lets look at some the Navigation links you will find in MyMail.
There are three navigation regions The QuickLink Bar, The Sidebar, Other settings


Let’s look at the QuickLink Bar
On the QuickLink Bar there are 5 buttons
Home – Takes you to the Home or Account Summary page – This page is just a general overview of the Status of your account.
Compose – Allows you to compose a new Secure E-Mail
Messages – Takes you to your Inbox
Contacts – Takes you to your Contact list
MyDocuments – Accesses your secure online File Storage

The Sidebar contains a list of Folders
Default folders include:
NetSafe – MyMail’s premiere Spam blocker Allows you to control the messages that reach your Inbox
Inbox – Show messages sent to you
Drafts – stores your unsent communications
Sent – Shows the messages that you have sent
Spam – Displays messages that make it through NetSafe but are still suspiciously spammy
Trash – keeps your deleted messages

Quota usage - to show you the usage status for your total message and file storage

Tags – Define Tags to help you mark, sort and search your messages


Sorting and Viewing Messages
To view your messages click on the Inbox folder or the Messages button in the QuickLink bar.  Your messages are displayed in the order that they were received from most recent at the top to the oldest at the bottom.  You can sort the message by sender, subject, read status, attachment, date, or message size.  Simply click on the button at the top of the of that column to sort all your messages (MyMail wont resort your messages when you log out and log back in.  Your sorting option will remain until you change it.

Access your settings and preferences

In the top right corner are three links next to your email address
Settings – Takes you to the screen which allows you to manage and fine tune your settings on many things including passwords, NetSafe, Send Secure, Signatures and message filtering.
Help – will take you to this system you are currently using
Sign Out logs out of MyMail.
